Here’s a
\nsummary of the Gift of Life Cancer Treatment Foundation’s activities in
\nFebruary 2018.<\/p>\n
In
\nFebruary, more than 232,000 euros was donated to the cancer treatment
\nfoundation. The foundation council approved the funding of the treatment of 16
\npeople, six of whom are receiving the foundation’s support for the first time.<\/p>\n
We also
\nsupported many other people whose decision to treat was made earlier. All in
\nall the foundation covered more than 152,000 euros worth of medical bills.<\/p>\n

\nfoundation’s help, and Grandma Anika M\u00f5rd from P\u00f5lva appeared in H\u00e4sti, Eesti

\nAs a part of the programme, Toivo and programme host J\u00fcri Aarma raised

\nlovely donors<\/b><\/p>\n
\nfoundation has plenty of donors worth a spotlight. For instance, entrepreneur
\nAare Koppel celebrated his birthday and asked his friends to make a donation to
\nthe cancer treatment foundation.<\/p>\n
\nKalamees, a member of the Keila finance committee, decided to donate her salary
\nfor cancer patients’ treatment.<\/p>\n
\nLaul, the owner of the Estonia Piano Factory and a member of the council of
\nOmniva, the post and logistics company, donates half of his council member
\nsalary for cancer patients. Read more.<\/a><\/p>\n
\nFebruary, Toivo T\u00e4navsuu visited Estonia’s centennial celebrations in
\nWashington and New York, organised by the Estonians living in the U.S. We also
\nheld a charity auction during both events where CDs and books with composer
\nArvo P\u00e4rt’s autographs and books signed by President Kersti Kaljulaid were
\nsold, among others. All in all the U.S. Estonians contributed nearly 4700
\ndollars to the foundation.<\/p>\n
\nFebruary, we raised donations during Arvo P\u00e4rt’s concerts at the Nordea Concert
\nHall, basketball games in Rapla and Tallinn and in several department stores.
\nThe audience of famous rock band Toto raised 1250 euros for the foundation.<\/p>\n
\nof the year, kitchen furniture manufacturer M\u00f6\u00f6blimasin invited its customers
\nto support the cancer treatment foundation. For every kitchen ordered in
\nDecember the company attributed 3% for cancer patients. The year ended and
\nkitchens were bought. As a result, nearly 1800 euros was raised.<\/p>\n
\nbirthday<\/b><\/p>\n
\nFebruary, we celebrated the Gift of Life Cancer Treatment Foundation’s 4th<\/sup>
\nanniversary.<\/p>\n
\nfoundation was founded in February 2014. In four years, we have given more than
\n250 people hope and a chance to live. We have given crucial help to absolutely
\neveryone who has come to us and belongs to our target group.<\/p>\n
\nof Estonia have contributed more than 3.6 million euros all in all. So many
\npeople have found invaluable hope or gained extra years thanks to tens of
